Holy Other exploded out of the gates in 2011 with the release of his Debut EP ‘With U’. Met with universal critical acclaim and garnering significant support from Spin, Stereogum, Pitchfork, Gorilla Vs Bear, Dummy, The Guardian and XLR8R, it even featured something of an underground hit in the form of the widely lauded single ‘Touch’. In 2012 he would go on to release his quietly influential debut album ‘Held’, which was regarded as one of the best electronic albums of that year. Off the back of that record he embarked upon a very successful world tour of his own, as well as having the opportunity to support Beach House, Lucky Dragon and Amon Tobin on their respective tours.

Since finishing touring in support of the record, Holy Other has unsurprisingly, given the elusive nature of the project, maintained a fairly low profile. In the past few years he’s performed with Andre De Ridder’s Stargaze Ensemble at Berlin’s esteemed Volkesbuhne venue and collaborated with Damon Albarn and Brian Eno in Mali.
